UC Davis Rapid Design Project for Kossmanndejong, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Kossmanndejong, a globally recognized design firm, tasked us with a 45-minute rapid design project to build an immersive exhibition for the Iceland Maritime Museum. I spearheaded the creative brainstorming process to develop a unified vision which incorporated the ideas from each designer on my team as well as met the detailed requirements contained in the project brief. I then delegated tasks for each member in order to expedite the process of drawing a rough concept design. Leading our creative pitch, “Sea the Hope,” I painted a vivid picture for the studio professionals at Kossmanndejong of our exhibition layout for the Iceland Maritime Museum which featured a light-projected timeline of ocean pollution and marine animal extinction, an immersive ambiance with floating trash and sound effects, and an interactive screen which encouraged visitors to participate in cleaning the sea.
